I like the original look of the modern cameras so much, that I think wrapping up all this beauty in some matte plastic make gear look as a cheap toy I understand that everyone has their own taste btw, but still I don't like this trend. I understand putting a phone in case, because it can really survive a drop on the ground with it. But if a camera falls on the ground it will almost die immediately, so why not to keep the camera in its "true form"?))

Makes sense to me. If you’re spending 1-2 grand on a body and another $500 minimum on a lens, it would be irresponsible to not spend the extra $50 to put a skin on them.

Ugh, it looks terrible especially around the edges where there is a gap. IDK why anyone would want to do this to their $6k camera - better off just using a bit of scrap vinyl wrap if all you want to do is protect it.

What's this crap? Buy a black finish body. I guess you are the kind of guy who buys a bra for the hood of your car, or a dog's vest and wool shoes for winter. Some people really have too much money in their credit cards. This is beyond photography as a passion. This is an addiction. Personally, I've never seen such a mediocre product whose arrival was trumpeted with messianic tones.
